Responsibilities:

Conduct orientation sessions:

  • Visit colleges and villages to conduct comprehensive orientation sessions on skill development programs offered by our organization.
  • Present information about program objectives, eligibility criteria, benefits, and career prospects to potential participants.
  • Address queries and concerns, ensuring a clear understanding of the programs and their relevance.

Mobilize participants:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to mobilize target groups, including students, unemployed youth, and individuals from marginalized communities.
  • Collaborate with local stakeholders, such as college authorities, parents, guardians, community leaders, and government agencies, to garner support and facilitate participation.
  • Conduct awareness campaigns, workshops, and promotional events to generate interest and motivate potential participants.

Relationship building:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with colleges, educational institutions, and community organizations to foster partnerships and facilitate program implementation.
  • Regularly communicate with key stakeholders to identify their needs, address concerns, and ensure continuous engagement.

Data collection and reporting:

  • Track and document participant mobilization activities, including the number of individuals engaged, inquiries received, and conversions to program enrolment.
  • Maintain accurate records of colleges and villages visited, feedback received, and any challenges encountered during mobilization efforts.
  • Prepare regular reports on mobilization activities, providing insights and recommendations to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Social Sciences, Business Administration).
  • Proven experience in mobilization, community engagement, or related roles, preferably in the skill development sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse audiences, including college students, community members, and organizational stakeholders.
  • A passion for skill development, education, and social empowerment.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking abilities, with the capacity to deliver engaging orientation sessions and promotional events.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including college authorities, community leaders, and government officials.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with database management systems.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
