Job Position: Head of Kanwal Rekhi Rural Entrepreneurship and Startup Centre (KREST)
Required Experience: 8-12 years of experience in entrepreneurship, startup incubation, or related field.
Reporting: CEO, Kakatiya Sandbox
Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, or related field
Joining: Immediate
Remuneration: Competitive and commensurate with relevant work experience
Desired Skill Sets:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 08-12 years of experience in entrepreneurship, startup incubation, or related field, with a proven track record of running successful programs, and initiatives. A seasoned/successful entrepreneur would be given priority.
- Strong understanding of rural and semi-urban problems, challenges, and opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience working with government organizations such as DST, NITI Aayog, and the Department of Biotechnology, etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse groups of stakeholders.
- Experience managing teams and resources effectively, with a focus on achieving results.
- Passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and social impact, with a deep commitment to creating positive change in the world. This will be a key parameter.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to promote entrepreneurship in rural and semi-urban areas of North Telangana, with a focus on Agriculture, Medical, Livelihood, Logistics, and Grassroots startups.
- Plan, execute, and manage incubation, pre-incubation, and accelerator programs for startups, providing mentorship, coaching, and support as needed.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, partners, investors, and entrepreneurs, fostering a collaborative and supportive ecosystem.
- Work closely with government organizations and other relevant stakeholders to secure funding, support, and partnerships for KREST programs.
- Represent KREST and Kakatiya Sandbox at relevant events and conferences, promoting our mission, vision, and impact
- Ensure that KREST programs are aligned with our values of innovation, social impact, and sustainability.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of KREST, including managing staff, budget, co-working spaces, and resources effectively.
