Founded in 2013 by Raju Reddy, the founder of Sierra Atlantic, and Phanindra Sama, the founder of Redbus, the Kakatiya Sandbox (KS) aims to empower rural and semi-urban North Telangana for a better future.
Our journey began in Nizamabad, the hub of North Telangana. Over the last decade, through various innovative programs, interventions, and entrepreneurial initiatives, Kakatiya Sandbox and its partners have impacted nearly 2.6 million lives in North Telangana

The Sandbox was founded to drive long-term social impact through innovation and entrepreneurship in North Telangana. The Sandbox provides an ecosystem for innovators to test ideas, make changes, and eventually develop truly scalable solutions. The value of the Sandbox lies in its ability to identify synergies and explore potential collaboration among the innovation network.

Agastya is a movement led by entrepreneurs, educators, scientists, teachers and children to revitalize and transform primary and secondary education in India and provide an affordable education model that can be replicated anywhere in the world. In Nizamabad, it offers science education to underprivileged students through state of the art science lab at Kakatiya Sandbox. Besides the lab, which is one of Agastya's largest labs in Telangana, it takes science equipment to students in villages through vans. The project has supported about 14,43,804+ students/dropouts through various interventions such as Tele Counseling (8,81,050+ calls), Career Workshops (11,256+ Government Schools reaching out to 9,91,278+ Students), Train the trainers (2381) and has impacted students in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Assam, Odisha, Tamilnadu & Jammu & Kashmir. Save A Mother, a not for profit organisation founded in December 2007, has devised a simple solution for saving lives of pregnant women and newborns.
It does so by implementing an aggressive health literacy program that trains volunteer village health activists to educate, empower and connect pregnant women to public health systems. Know More >>

BOLLANT Industries Pvt. Ltd came into existence in the year 2012, in the month of December, under the larger mission to create employment opportunities for millions of differently-abled people, who are mostly uneducated and unskilled. Since long, there has been an acute need to engage them not only in a suitable job but also to provide them regular employment which would help them to lead a secure living hood. The challenge is to identify suitable work for them in mainstream occupations with necessary adaptations. VCAM (Vaish Center for Additive Manufacturing) is another initiative of Kakatiya Sandbox. VCAM is a social enterprise aiming to facilitate the growth of 3D design and printing technology in the rural areas of Telangana by providing training to youth and school students, also offering 3D design and printing services to the local industries. It is the first of its kind facility, wherein such high-end technology is brought to tier-2 towns in Telangana, thereby nurturing and engaging the young talent in creative and enterprising work.
