Job Position: Lead of Micro-Entrepreneurship Development Program (MEDP)

Required Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in micro-enterprise development, entrepreneurship, or related field

Reporting: CEO, Kakatiya Sandbox

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in business administration, entrepreneurship, or a related field, a master's degree is preferred.

Joining: Immediate

Remuneration: Competitive and commensurate with relevant work experience

Desired Skill Sets:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 7-10 years of experience in micro-enterprise development, entrepreneurship, or related field.
  • Female candidates with a Telugu-speaking background are preferred.
  • Prior experience as a startup/business founder or a core team member would be preferred.
  • Experience working with SHGs, Co-operatives, Collectives, and Clusters.
  • Strong understanding of business strategy and development.
  • Ability to work effectively with government departments.
  • Committed to fostering and nurturing women-entrepreneurship in the region.
  • Demonstrated results in a fast-paced and experimental environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for MEDP to drive entrepreneurship among women micro-entrepreneurs in North Telangana.
  • Identify and engage with potential beneficiaries of MEDP, and provide them with training, mentorship, and support to increase their income and improve their livelihoods.
  • Manage a team of 5 staff members across our MEDP offices in Siddipet, Nizamabad, and Karimnagar, including but not limited to recruiting, training, and managing their performance to achieve program objectives.
  • Ensure MEDP activities are aligned with our values of innovation, social impact, and sustainability, and are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and private sector partners, to leverage resources and increase the impact of MEDP.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of MEDP, and provide regular reports and updates to the CEO and other stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the MEDP team, and support the team members in their professional growth and development.
  • Identify new untapped opportunities for growth and expansion of the MEDP program.
  • Work closely with SHGs, Co-operatives, Collectives, and Clusters to identify potential entrepreneurs and develop their business skills.
  • Utilize a deep understanding of business strategy and development to enhance the performance of the MEDP program.
  • Leverage prior experience as a startup/business founder or a core team member to innovate and creatively solve challenges.
  • Collaborate with government departments that deal with SHGs, Cooperatives, Collectives, and Clusters in Telangana and India.
